While the fan does include batteries, don’t count on them lasting through a hot day! Make sure to buy batteries before your trip or you’ll be buying batteries from Disney! We suggest bringing rechargeable batteries!

Stroller Boards are a great option for those children! Simply attach the board to the back of a stroller and a toddler can stand while the parent pushes the stroller.

Do you like to use umbrella strollers at Disney?

A GAC is available to children and adults with special needs and allows them to wait in a separate holding area apart from the regular queues at most attractions. A GAC can also be issued to children who have autism, ADHD or anxiety or even a cast on their foot.

Where can you get a GAC?

You can obtain a GAC at Guest Relations in all parks. You will not need a doctor’s letter to show, but many people like to bring one to make the process of obtaining a GAC easier. You will have to explain to the castmembers what the special need is and what kind of assistance is needed.

How long is a GAC valid?

A GAC is valid for the entire length of your trip, so make sure to obtain the card on the first day of your trip. You won’t have to get a new card at each park. Guest Relations will give you a card, but for children that are in a stroller, they will also tie a band around the stroller to let castmembers easily see you need special access.

What all will a GAC allow you to do?

A GAC will allow your child to stay in their stroller and enter through the wheelchair accessible queue. They will be able to stay in their stroller until it’s time to board the ride. If your child has autism, ADHD or anxiety, a GAC will allow your child an alternative place to wait in line with less crowds. Up to 5 members are allowed to be with your child and enter through the queue.

• Create a “Stroller Tag” with your family name on it. Laminate it and then attach to your stroller using heavy duty zip ties. Another option is to create a decal that will iron on to your stroller somehow. No one wants to push around a stroller with another family’s name on it!

• Buy a stroller lock. There are a few different stroller locks you can purchase like the Baby Lock n’ Go Retractable Stroller Lock or the BuggyGuard Retractable Stroller Lock.  You won’t be able to lock it to a stationary object in the Disney Parks, but you can tie your wheels together!

• Don’t leave bags of merchandise on your strollers! Some people may think that piling the stroller with bags will prevent someone from taking them, but it can be the opposite! Don’t leave anything valuable or eye catching on your stroller.

• Decorate your stroller! We mentioned about making sure there is a stroller tag with your family name, but decorate your stroller even more! Add balloons and really wrap the string around the handle. I’ve even seen people put rope lights around the wheels! Talk about unique! • The strangest thing I have heard to deter stroller thieves is to pour a soda into a diaper, put it into a grocery bag and hang it from your stroller handle so it resembles…well, you know!

If you have rented a stroller from Disney World and find that it has been taken, head to where you rented the stroller to report it. They have a limited number of replacement strollers available. If your non-Disney stroller has been taken, you can still try reporting it to Lost and Found in the Disney Parks. It may have been that the stroller wasn’t taken, but a Cast Member moved it around.
